RISING STARS

RISING STARS

Rising Stars is a theatre arts program designed for young adults-- grades 7-12 who love to learn and want to build their theatre skills in a safe and professional environment. Students develop skills vital to performing arts like team-building, public speaking, and creative problem-solving. The students audition for the production chosen by the director of the program and the students meet weekly to rehearse their roles for the production. The program concludes with public performances that allow the students to experience all aspects of theatre production.

These productions are done on the Florence Little Theatre stage with the support of staff and volunteers. Students are able to be a part of a performance on a professional quality stage with the full backing of professional level production quality of lights, sound, costumes, and makeup.
